Career Transitioning Made Easy
Who are we?
Established in 2007, Path Steward (PTY) Ltd is an Edu-Tech company that expand career transitioning platforms by providing innovative solutions. Our services offer an easy to use online system called PSconnect that guides and simplifies the process of transition by learners from primary and secondary school level into the right career choice for their post-secondary education. Our innovative system provides access to career guidance, career assessments as well as youth and skills development. Our services also includes assistance with tertiary and university applications and access to funding schemes.
We pride ourselves with providing services that afford learners from grade 7 – 12 with mentorship, guides them to select career paths that are most suited for their qualities and acquire funding aids that match their chosen careers.
Our platform facilitates career planning, promotes early awareness of tertiary and university application opportunities and enables the exploration of career pathways available in South Africa. The system does this by guiding the learners through a progression of rational career goals settings, intuitive assessments and connecting the intersection of career opportunities. The provided information is presented like courses: scarce skills, course requirements, APS scores, disability factors and additional factors that relate to enrollment.

Our Philosophy
To have a better South Africa means to change our youth. To change our youth means to change the education structure. To change the education structure means to change the way the education structure receives its resources. Changing the perception of communities towards the educational structure can help in bringing about change. Service delivery in its simplicity is fundamental to our exceptional service offering.
From our inception date in 2007, it took us five years to build PSconnect. Coming from a background where we met similar issues faced by most South African learners in matric; issues of lack of career guidance, access to academic and funding institutions applications and exposure to career opportunities in the country. We wanted to create a platform that would act as a mentor for grade 7 to 12 learners who are transitioning in their careers, to select career paths most suitable for them and financial schemes particular to those paths. Our platform enables learners, parents, educators and school leaders a better way to manage the learners’ career planning. In partnership with Sci-Bono, we launched our pilot in 2016 and 6 000 learners got to use the system.
